Checks prior operating

(1)QR Twin Drum Grout Mixer in horizontal position.

(2)Water connection.

(3)Electric installation.

(4)Tightness of all shut off valves.

(5)Fill water tank by opening of valve “M1”.

(6)Switch on mixer.

(7)Check if mixer turns the right way, this means water have to be turning clockwise.

(8)Open valve M1, and fill stirring tank.

(9)Start pump and check the pressure as well as the rotation (clockwise).

Note: The electric connections are made in the factory in such a way, that all electric motors have the correct direction if the pump motor turns clockwise.

Operation with QR Grout Mixer

(1)Close shut-off valves W2 ,W3

(2)Fill water tank by opening of valve W1

(3)Push water selector arm in position “1”

(4)Open valve W2

(5)Start pump and check the maximum pressure as well as the rotation(clockwise)

(6)Fill in the necessary quantity cement(about 150kg)and proper additives

(7)Mixing during 4 minutes

(8)Switch on stirring device(in smaller drum)

(9)Open valve M1

(10)Switch on grout pump with remote control(with fast speed) and start with grouting

(11)When finished the grouting, close the outlet valve of cement paste; Meanwhile increase pressure using remote control(with slow speed) to aimed pressure, and close the inlet valve of cement paste when pressure reach to grouting requirement.

(12)End of grouting in a full process.

 Note:

The mixing cement slurry volume in the stirring tank should between from 1/2 to 3/4.Close the inlet valve when finished the grouting, and then turn three gears switcher to other side to let the screw pump work in counter-clockwise for 2~3 seconds; In order to avoid high pressure in the grouting pipe to harm operator, take apart the inlet valve of grouting after releasing the pressure in the grouting pipe.Turn the three gears switcher to the starting position(clockwise)before next round grouting.
